Selling houses has been a life-time dream of mine; however, my mom encouraged me to go in to the medical field because then "you'd always have a job". She had a good point! I had a job prior to graduating, and I actually enjoyed working in the medical field; however, after doing medical administrative work for years, I decided to take the plunge 20+ years ago and get my real estate license, and I have no regrets! I have been with the Stark Company since 1996, and I can't imagine working for another company (family-owned for 100+ years, cares about the community, cares about the people that work there, etc.). In 2006, I partnered with Trent Halverson to form the Halverson/Wedvick team in an effort to better serve our clients' needs, and it's worked out very well!
In addition to selling single-family homes, as an income property owner myself, I am very familiar with the needs of investment property buyers and sellers. I also work in new construction, existing homes, condominiums and vacation homes, but I specialize in working with seniors. I enjoy meeting one-on-one with sellers and making their move as seamless and stress free as possible.
I hold an Accredited Buyer Representative, Graduate of Real Estate Institute, Senior Real Estate Specialist and Council of Residential Specialist (held by less than 4% of Realtors nationwide) designations and Accredited Staging Professional. I'm also a member of the Home Buyer's Round Table, a collaboration of housing industry representatives that promote home ownership through education and counseling to low and moderate-income families. There is NOTHING more rewarding than getting someone in to their first home that never dreamed they could own a home!
I live in Madison and have one son, three daughters and three grandsons. When I'm not selling real estate, I enjoy volunteering at the elementary school, doing nothing, running, biking and love spending time with my family and friends!
